Printing update 15th September 2025:
The Specialist Transparency printers have moved to a new home.
The transparency printers are now in 1B009, next door to the Bower Ashton Library.
It is only possible send print jobs to the transparency printers from the Mac computers in the same room as the printer, 1B009 and the computers in the Publication Space, 0C001 and 0C002.
We generally recommend using the Mac computers in 1B009, where there is a Print Release Station for directing from the print queue to the laserprinter with the required media (Folex, frosted transparency film or Lloyd Paton clear transparency film). More information including a short video demonstrating the process of sending to and retrieving print jobs from one of our transparency printers:

Normal print jobs can be sent from any networked student computer to the Pharos colour and b/w printers, next door in the Library or the Publication Space.
In the meantime, if you have any queries, please see the DDS staff in 0F012 or 1B009, or via email: [email protected]
Thank you.
