Printing in the Digital Design Studios
Colour printing works through the Pharos system, with the printer located in the Magenta Room (0F14), Bower Ashton. B&W printing is free, while colour printing is charged at the standard rate.
Transparency Printing In The Digital Design Studios
We have Pharos BW printers situated in the Magenta Room (0F14) in the Digital Design Studios, Bower Ashton. They operate on a similar system to the Pharos printers in the Library and DDS. They print on transparency material (Frosted or Clear) for screen printing, litho printing and a number of other print processes. The transparencies are supplied and the price of printing reflects the cost of the materials.
The cost of printing to these printers is 50 pence per A4 sheet or £1.00 per A3 sheet.

It is possible to send files for print to the Pharos printer in a variety of file formats from your own device using the webpage at:

Printing CMYK and Spot Colour Seperations

Wide format printers are available in the Digital Print Bureau. Machines in the DDS cannot print directly to them but you can prepare your work in the DDS and take the files down the Print Centre in Room 0G5. For more information see the Digital Print area here.
